Brown Township Pioneer John McCray Dies After Accident
John McCray 87 6 20 died Sunday night after a buggy accident that left him with a dislocated shoulder and other injuries. He wed Mary Frances in 1854 and lived his life in Brown township as a farmer and respected elder. He is survived by two sons and four daughters with services at the Stubbs home near Wilkinson conducted by Bishop Floyd.

Will Milner, 40, died after being struck by a train on the Ingalls line last Wednesday. He left two children aged 9 and 12 with his mother Mrs Betty Milner. funeral was held at home and burial followed at Guy Cemetery in Ingalls.

Mrs G C De Camp entertained Helen's friends on White Street Monday afternoon from 2 to 5. A Peanut Hunt crowned Mable Jackson as the top hunter who received statuary.
