The S L Club ladies hosted their husbands at Mr. and Mrs. Frank Presti's home Saturday evening. Deaths Reported by Condo and Co Ada Burris Dies at Home
Ada Burris died at her home in Shirley on May 9 at age 17 years 10 months and 10 days. Funeral services were held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Holiness church in Cleveland with Rev. Hufford officiating. Interment followed in the Gilbo family lot at Gilbo cemetery.

Ada Burris Dies at Seventeen in Meridian Street Home
Ada Burris seventeen daughter of Moses Burris died Tuesday morning at their South Meridian Street home from tuberculosis after declining health since last summer. She leaves a father and two sisters Mabel and Mary. her mother died in February 1913. Short services were held at home Thursday then at Holiness church in Cleveland with Omer Huford officiating. Burial was in Gilbo cemetery. Cleveland was her birthplace and she belonged to the M E church there. Ada will be greatly missed by friends and kin.
