Reuben Rickard Dead In Indiana Town
Reuben Rickard died at his home on First street Tuesday evening at age seventy one. Born in Lebanon county Pennsylvania he moved to Indiana as a youth and lived most of his life in Henry county. He is survived by his wife two daughters Lizzie Jackson of this place and Orville Collier’s wife of Washington D C and one grandchild Marie in frail health. Funeral services were held at the M E Church Thursday at 10 a m conducted by Rev Richard C Jones of Knightstown with burial at Glencove Cemetery Knightstown.

Little Child Burns in Farm Accident Near Greenfield
Sophia Boots five years old, daughter of Mr and Mrs Austin Boots, is in critical condition from extensive burns suffered last Thursday at the Sophia Boots farms northeast of Greenfield. Playing near a stove in the creamery, her clothing caught fire. her coat was used to smother the flames. Doctor T E Lowe attended. burns cover about half of her body with deep, painful injuries.
