Hancock County Poultry Association fanciers win many prizes at the Indianapolis show with standout Black Langshan wins. Judge W C Pierce calls Hancock County the country’s best in the Black Langshan class. Bernice H Barrett of Greenfield earns first prize cock in Black Langshan, beating last year’s New York winners. Other Greenfield victors include Ernest Bovey in White Wyandottes and Bernice Barrett in Black Langshan. Barrett lives on Route 5 and is wife of Ward Barrett.
