Fire at Pohlers Cafe extinguished by night watch
A fire of unknown origin was found by the nightwatchman near Pohlers Cafe last Thursday at 3 a.m. The fire department arrived quickly and extinguished the blaze with no serious damage or injuries reported.
Fire destroys Hanzlik home in Dilworth loss total
Fire reported at 2 30 Tuesday afternoon destroyed the Anton Hanzlik residence in Dilworth. Origin traced to a kitchen flue and despite available extinguishers a ladder could not be secured in time. The house burned completely though most furniture was saved. some insurance coverage was carried. Hanzlik runs a blacksmith shop at Dilworth.
