Promoter Mr. Luskin envisions a Shiner cannery to process local tomatoes and truck crops, using five to ten acres per farm to replace cotton income. Tragic death of Henry Harr Jr. recalled in Columbus

Henry Harr Jr. 26, son of Mr and Mrs Henry Harr Sr of Columbus, died after a car wreck near Eagle Lake. He formerly edited the Calvert Tribune and owned a theatre in New Gulf. Survived by wife and baby daughter. funeral held in Columbus. he was a Mason Knight of Pythias and Kappa Sigma member. His companion escaped serious injury. The Gazette extends condolences.
