The brick work commenced this morning by Messrs A. Carnes & Son on Lott street. Several brick masons are employed and the display is promising. If no delays occur, the building should be ready by October 1.
A humorous warning from Schlottman Drug Co markets Allard’s Horehound Syrup as a cure for coughs colds and chest troubles. The notice hints at keeping the product in stock with bottles priced 25 cents 50 cents and one dollar for sale.
Schlottman Drug Co advertises baseball goods for boys, highlighting equipment and supplies for youth players.
The Mothers' Club hosts a tea and bazaar next Thursday evening at Bluecher Park starting at 2 p m to raise funds for furnishing the new schoolhouse room. All welcome to attend and support the effort.
