Schulenburg Girl Dies From Car Crash Injuries
Gertrude Ann Miksch 22 of Schulenburg died at 6 15 am Tuesday August 28 1962 at Santa Rosa Hospital San Antonio from injuries suffered in a August 19 crash near the Fayette Lavaca county line. She had skull fractures and concussion and had been unconscious since the accident. She was to marry August 25 to Eugene Vogt. Funeral services were held at Schwenke Baumgarten Funeral Home and St Rose Church Schulenburg with burial in the church cemetery. Survived by parents Gus Miksch Jr and two brothers Edgar Rosenberg and Daniel Schulenburg and sisters Mrs I J Pavilicek and Rose Miksch.
