Lewis Allen census enumerator notes 14575 bales of the 1930 crop ginned in Lavaca county before Aug 16. 1930. In 1929 up to Aug 16 there were 1829 bales ginned in the county.

Faculty Reception At High School Auditorium

The annual faculty reception will be held tomorrow at 8 o'clock in the High School Auditorium. The program includes an orchestra, mixed quartet, violin solo by Mrs. W. L.
