Ernst Wolters born 1856 in New Ulm Texas died suddenly at about 10 30 PM Sunday after illness his funeral and burial followed on Monday at 5 30 PM with Herman Sons rites and a service led by Rev J C Pauling. He leaves a wife Anna Nordhausen two daughters Elise and Clara a son Herbert two brothers and a sister and many friends in Schulenburg and Shiner.

Death of William Hahnke of Schulenburg
The Weimar Mercury reports the death of William Hahnke of Schulenburg on August 24 at his home there. He was 68 or 69, a pioneer farmer who moved from Middle Creek to Schulenburg, leaving a wife and four daughters in Texas towns including Weimar Victoria and Shiner. Funeral was held at 4 p m on Friday with interment at High Hill Cemetery.
