An attack on C. F. Collier of Cherokee, Iowa nearly proved fatal through kidney injury. He suffered severe back pain and could not sit or eat until Electric Bitters relieved his illness. The tonic purports to cure backache and kidney trouble, purify blood, and improve health. Only 50c at drug stores.
The Shiner Volksblatt reprints untrue accusations by CD of Gonzales with no effect as Burgess denies them. A letter from the Gonzales Masonic lodge official confirms Burgess in good standing and county affidavits show no embezzlement charges. The Gazette says the Jones faction’s tactics backfire and aid Burgess.

KE E Hildebrandt and wife of Shiner visited yesterday regarding the estate of Mr POM Doll, who with his entire family perished in the Galveston storm.
