Plageman and a former Alice High School graduate, Expressive Arts diploma recipient, and nurse trainee. Faulkner is an Oklahoma native and University of Oklahoma engineer graduate. The couple delayed visiting family due to work obligations and planned to wed in Texas.
Bernhard Spies and Lydia Koch were united in marriage at the Lutheran Church in Victoria with Rev. Rietz officiating. Witnesses were Louie Koch and Elsie Schmidt. After a wedding trip to Galveston the couple will reside on the bride’s family farm near Victoria.

The death of Mr. Schoenvogel shocked all as he finished work greasing tools for the night. He is survived by his wife and one daughter, Mrs. A. O. Dreyer of El Paso, along with four sons Otto Brenham William Chas and Henry of Witting. Funeral was held Wednesday Oct 7 at 8 PM from the family home with interment in Charlottenburg Lutheran Cemetery. The Gazette extends sympathy.
