Edmund Baros aged 53 6 months 12 days died Sunday November 20 1966 at 1130 p.m. Funeral services were at Buffington Funeral Home Shiner and the Shiner Catholic Church with Requiem Mass. Rosary was recited Tuesday evening. Interment in Shiner Catholic Cemetery. Solemn Rites For Accident Victim Mrs. Jim Chotenovsky

Mrs. Jim Chotenovsky died in a near head on collision on State Highway 95 near here while en route from Moulton to Shiner. Her husband Jim Chotenovsky the Lavaca County Justice of the Peace was called to the scene to hold an inquest. Bohumil George Kalisek of Shiner was seriously hurt and transferred to a Houston VA hospital. The crash involved a 1961 sedan and a 1955 sedan on an incline in the southbound lane.

Turkey Shoot at Gus's Place Saturday November 26

A Turkey Shoot will be held at Gus's Place on the Shiner Moulton Highway about 1½ miles south of Moulton. The event starts at 1 p.m. and welcomes 12, 16 and 20 gauge shotguns. Shells are furnished and refreshments provided. Public invited.

Miss Clara Wolters Breaks Hip in Fall at Schulenburg

Miss Clara Wolters of Schulenburg broke her hip Monday evening November 7 and was hospitalized at Youens Memorial Hospital in Weimar. She is reported improving satisfactorily by family. Mrs Arno Wagener of Shiner visited and returned to Weimar with Glenn.

Mrs. Bohuslav laid to rest in Texas funeral rites

Agnes Bohuslav age 85 buried after services at Smith and Wharton Funeral Homes. Born January 21 1881 in Moravia Texas she lived in Moulton Boling and died November 5 at Caney Valley Memorial Hospital Wharton. Survived by sons two sisters and brothers and several grandchildren.
