Tomato School Tonight Seeks Farmers Attendance

The Tomato School drew a near 300 attendance last Thursday. Mr Kingen urged inviting ladies to help recall instructions on tomato planting. The session, free for all farmers, featured Alvord of the Federal Farm Board speaking on support for production and marketing. Carlton of Yoakum aided as vocational instructor. City Auditorium at 7 30 PM hosts the event inviting everyone to learn seed needs for orders by the Chamber of Commerce.

Miss Mabel Merrem Receives State Honor at San Angelo

The Wied Fair Association invites all to spend the day on Wied school grounds with a full program. Exhibits judging from 10 to 12, Pigmy parade at 11, dinner 12 to 1, viewing 12 to 4, outdoor entertainment 1 to 3, addresses 3:30 to 4, dance 8 p.m. Entries accepted 8 to 10 a.m. Nov 11 with rules for livestock, canning, and display.
