The 83d quarterly meeting of directors will be held at the Hiner Opera House on Dec 4 at 9 30 a m. Those desiring houses appraised should notify the appraisers or the undersigned in time, and those with certificates should call for some of that day. Further though unofficial probably strict.

Two Big Pigs Record Sale At Houston Market
Joe Sobotic returned from Houston with two large hogs bought from a Mexican seller. They weighed 1408 pounds and are claimed to be the largest pigs ever sold in Houston. Sobotic sets a local record and notes strong profits for raising such pigs.

Cotton Buyer Scoops 500 Bale Lot for 34900 Dollars
Genisil Frank Johnson the cotton buyer bought a 500 bale lot from Wolters Bros for 34900 dollars. The deal valued at about 70 dollars per bale shows strong market activity last week.
