Passing of Mrs. T. J. Ponton in Lavaca County
Mrs. T J Ponton aged 45 years 5 months 6 days died after a long illness in Santa Rosa infirmary following a street illness in San Antonio. She was born in Shiloh Lavaca County and lived in Shiner 20 years. Survived by husband T J Ponton and daughter Johnnie Ruth now Mrs. R A Weinert of Seguin. Funeral conducted by Rev G T Gibbons with Eastern Star burial service and pallbearers C Amsler Peck Welhausen C J Garbade KE Runk Ed Herder Benno Holchak, Interment in local cemetery amid floral tributes and choir readings. The Gazette extends sympathy to the bereaved.

Dr Kent Renews Shiner Dates For June 14

New Small Sized Currency Shown By Bank For Public

New Theatre Opening in San Antonio Sets June 14
