Story Hour Opens for Youngest Readers This Summer
The School Library announces a Story Hour for six year olds who have not attended school, starting June 8 from 10 11 a.m. The library will be open in the Elementary Building north end. Books from both Elementary and High School will be available to the public. The library will operate each Wednesday morning through the summer.
City Lights Go Out For Hour In Tuesday Morning Outage
At 7:05 a.m. a Shi ner sub station lost power when all three fuses burned out. REA officials from Gonzales restored electricity by 8:00 a.m. The outage halted gas pumps, cooking, lighting and air conditioning, with no clue found for the fuse failure.
