The Frank M. Wagner Memorial Hospital Foundation marks National Hospital Day Sunday May 19 with a two session open house from 9 to 11 and 2 to 5. Tour the hospital including the operating room laboratory nursery and X ray while auxiliary members conduct department tours and serve refreshments. Visitors will see the new electrocardiograph machine and the board weighs plans for short wave diathermy and other acquisitions. The event highlights the hospital as a community career center with nursing programs LVN licensing since 1953 and 60 licenses issued. The board administrator staff and Blue Ladies of the Hospital Auxiliary will assist and refreshments will be served.

Next week mail carriers will place survey cards in sample boxes along routes. USDA bases livestock estimates on replies to this survey and urges card returns to provide a representative sample.
