The Ladies Aid Society met April 27 at Mrs Otto Dreyer home with 15 members. Reports were given, a lunch was served, and music provided by Mrs Sankey Evelyn Dreyer and Wilma Hillie. Guests included Rev Crowder and Mrs Dufner. Aid to meet May 24 at Welhausen pasture. Bridge material for Mustang Creek move to Ponton s creek due to state rejection and future road bond concerns.

Mott Bartram Tie The Knot In Lutheran Ceremony

A quiet wedding was held at 10 o'clock Tuesday at the Lutheran church with Rev. Sagebiel officiating. Robert F. Mott, a Shiner area farmer, wed Lillie Erna Bartram of Yorktown before relatives and friends. Best men were Hugo C Bartram and Reinhold F Bartram. bridesmaids were Annie Martha Mott and Pauline Gras.
