Wednesday afternoon near town the young son of Mr and Mrs Hepner was kicked by a colt. Doctors Schulze and Gray operated at Shiner Gay morning hospital in a desperate bid to save him. The skull was fractured and brains exposed. The child did not regain consciousness and died in the hospital. his age is given as 2 12 years old.
