Community Canning Plant Installed in Old City Hall

Serious Accident Incurred In Ditch Crash Near Shiner
County Administrator Dziewan and Mrs Nell Allen of Hallettsville were in a car that overturned a few miles from Shiner Sunday about 7 p.m. en route from Sulphur Park. The car suffered heavy damage and both were rushed to Shiner Hospital. Dziewas had bruises and head injuries, while Mrs Allen sustained a brain contusion and severe neck and shoulder injuries. Relatives from Yoakum visited and stayed with the patients until their Monday transfer to Mrs Wm Dziewas's home in Yoakum. The incident was serious but not fatally fatal, and friends hope for a speedy recovery.
