Henry Theodore Klos died Friday afternoon after a lingering illness. Born May 29, 1898 in Weimar, he was married to Ella Renken and leaves one daughter Irene. Survived by brothers Willie, Eddie, and others, with parents preceding him. A devout Catholic, he sang in the church choir and St Joseph's Society. Funeral services at Sts Cyril and Methodius, with Requiem Mass led by Fathers Bily and Beck, and burial in the Catholic cemetery. Casket bearers listed. community honored his musical talents and community service.

Fehrenkamp Pioneer Citizen Dies At 85 In Shiner
Benhard W. Fehrenkamp of Shiner dies after months long illness at his home aged 85 years 5 months and 2 days. He was born near Freisburg February 5 1853 lived in Flatonia Moulton and Shiner where he operated a ginning business. Survived by wife Catherine two children six others grandchildren and two great grandchildren. funeral Saturday at 4 pm from family residence with burial in city cemetery. Thousands of delegates and visitors filled Hallettsville for a three day Catholic State League of Texas convention. Opening with High Mass at Sacred Heart Church and a sermon by Rev. Schertz of Westphalia, the event featured welcomes from County Judge Paul Fertsch City Representative Paul Boethel and Father Beck. State President Gus Strauss delivered the annual message with speeches by Miss Sophie Heep and Ben Schwegmann. Field Mass next morning featured Archbishop Arthur J. Drossaerts delivering the sermon.
