The Twentieth Century Club, meeting Monday at Mrs. Peck Welhausen's with thirteen members and one guest Mrs. Elmo Merrem, debated the opera Aida. Mrs. Wendtland led a discussion on Ptah Isis and the opera’s music. piano selections included Heavenly Aida and The Fatal Stone. Mrs. Thulemeyer spoke on Martinelli’s life and Victrola renditions. meeting adjourned to Feb 1 hosted by Mrs. Welhausen.
