A bay mare about 14 hands high with a cut fore-top and long mane disappeared Saturday night at Rocky Site Park. The animal is described as saddled and led by D. G. Helmere of Rhiner Texas. Police urge information leading to recovery.

J M Busby brings a big tent minstrel show to town with a full band orchestra and a cast of colored performers. The program features a strong forepart and various specialties delivering lively songs and dancing to a liberal patronage.

There will be a devotional meeting of the Epworth League next Sunday night at 7 15 o clock led by Emily Schmidt with the topic Pellow ship with God drawn from the New Testament.
