Mrs. Cecelie Spoetzl hosted the Legion Park event on December 20 for brewery staff and families. A turkey supper and gifts followed a Christmas tree ceremony, with seven employees receiving engraved wrist watches for 25 years of service. A memorial service honored the late Kosmos Spoetzl and departed workers.

Mrs. Joe Wagner of Moulton died at Wagner Hospital in Shiner after a two month confinement. She was 68 years old.
