St Paul High School will administer the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test on February 28, 1967 at 9:00 am. Students pay a $1 fee through Science Research Associates. Seventh Annual St Paul-Sla Science Fair March 5
The PTC presents the seventh annual St Paul High School and St Ludmila's Academy science fair on Sunday March 5 1967 at the Catholic Parish Gym. About 150 students enter for honor medals and savings bond prizes with judging by external experts from San Marcos and Victoria. Judges assess creative ability scientific thought thoroughness skill clarity and dramatic value with anonymity maintained until judging ends. Grand prizes include 50 25 and 25 savings bonds funded by local groups and the Lavaca-DeWitt Medical Auxiliary gives a special medal for best medical exhibit. Public viewing runs 8 am to 6 pm admission is free.

A 36 month agreement worth 24.115 million annually was signed February 8 by Southwestern Bell Telephone and District 6, Communications Workers of America.
