The United Doctors licensed for deformities and chronic diseases offer free consultation examination and advice with medicine cost only. They claim bloodless surgery with no knife or pain and urge patients to report results to spread their reach to every city. They request a urine sample for analysis and note deafness cures in 60 days, with hours 9 am to 4 pm and a Gonzales visit on Feb 24 at Plaza Hotel.
Notice to members of Branch No 1 of the H P Mutual Fire and Storm Ins Assn announcing the 4th and last quarterly directors meeting for the current year at the Shiner Opera House on Saturday March 1 1913. A Wednesday afternoon accident involving J F Houchins KH Houchins and Rheinstrom occurred while returning from Shiner. The car rolled over after misjudging a corner hitting a culvert and a wire fence. Rheinstr om suffered a knee cut. Houchins remained able to call for help. All were shaken but none seriously injured. The car had minor damage except for a demolished windshield. They were aided by passing cars with block and tackle and returned home. Rheinstrom remained in Shiner Hospital in stable condition.
