County boards will hold April June September October and December exams for second and first grade certificates. First exam April 6 7 1917, second June 1 2, third September 7 8, fourth October 19 20, fifth December 7 8. Permanent certificates tested at all except October. Civic League Elects Officers and Plans Fundraiser
The Civic League met January 25 at Mrs. Welhausen's home with seventeen members present. Officers elected: S. A. Thulemeier president, O. H. Deutsch vice president, C. B. Wilhausen secretary, Peck Welhausen treasurer, Elo ters reporter. The league aims to host a home talent play to boost funds and renew band concerts with summer.
