Funeral rites held for Joseph J Kopecky with fall of flowers
The service at Hallettsville Catholic cemetery honored Joseph J Kopecky with Rev C J Benes master of ceremonies and sermons by Rev P J Keither and Rev W Demel among others. Attendants included Rev Geo Berrberick and Rev L P Netardus with condolences from relatives across Yoakum La Grange Shiner and Garwood. Floral tributes and attendance from local Knights of Columbus and American Legion accompanied by a large cortege of friends. A note mentions Cryeta cafe serving fish and vegetables every Thursday.
