Youth Higgins Hurt In Pool Room Fight Near Sweet Home
A man named Higgins from near Sweet Home was struck on the head with a billiard cue during a Wednesday evening altercation in town and suffered a serious injury. Both combatants were arrested and fined. Bud Rhodes, Ed Coleman’s stepson, returned with Coleman’s horses and wagon and is now employed at the Union Hotel by Aug Stephan.
