Precinct Convention Called in Calhoun County May 1908
The Democratic County Committee of Calhoun calls a precinct convention at every box in the county for the first Saturday in May 1908 the second of May from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. to elect delegates to the County Convention. Delegates are based on one vote per twenty five votes or major fraction cast for governor in the July 28 1906 Democratic primary, with at least one vote per precinct. Precinct chairmen must report to the County Chairman at Hallettsville on May 5 1908 at 10 a.m. Chairman Democratic E Com.
