The city audit shows many customers owe light and water bills. The power plant must run on a business basis with fixed rules. All past due bills must be paid by May 10 or service will be cut and delinquents named.

At the April seventh meeting Mrs. Arthur Kaspar presided. April library appointments were made for Mrs. James Michna and Miss Mabel Merrem. Ten new books were added to the library. K C B Meeting Plans Dance and Play at Legion Hall

The Catholic Dramatic Club met at the Parish Hall Tuesday night April 5 with songs and prayer. New members Henry Marek Emil Lahodny and Frank Tesar were welcomed. A motion carried to hold an old time dance April 20 at the American Legion Hall. A second play is planned once director W J Janecek recovers from illness. Next meeting is first Tuesday in May with a large turnout urged.

National Tribute to Lone Star State program on radio

A nationwide radio panorama on April 18 at 8 30 p m est will highlight Texas history culture and industry. The National Broadcasting Company network of over forty stations will air scenes of cotton turkeys and pecans noting San Jacinto celebrations and featuring songs from Sam Houston era and plains cowboys and rangers.

Missionary Mrs Bartek Speaks at Prague Church

Mrs J P Bartek, a Methodist missionary in Prague Czechoslovakia, occupied the pulpit at the Methodist Church Sunday morning at 11 o'clock. She presented interesting information and a history of missionary work in Europe. Her talk was much enjoyed by all present.
