Suicide by Mrs Slama Near Shiner Inquest Finds Self
The inquest reports death by own action for Mrs Josephine Slama aged about 60 who hanged herself in a crib near her Shiner area home about four miles south. Her daughter Lucy, 84, discovered the body at sunset after missing her mother since morning. The family cut her down and moved the body to the house before authorities arrived.

Shiner Chapter No. 272 0.8.S. celebrated its second anniversary with the assistant deputy grand matron Mrs. Mamie Dial of San Antonio visiting.
