100 Percent American League Formed in Adams Township

Wheat Acreage Will Be Cut
A fall reduction in local wheat sowing is expected due to corn damage and a shortage of labor. Many farmers will leave ground idle until spring and substitute oats. Some seed orders at local elevators are being canceled amid poor conditions and a long rainy spell delaying silo filling and sowing.
