The Knights of Pythias conferred the third degree on W. F. Sample L. D. Cox and Clark Newby Tuesday night with strong turnout from Noblesville Carmel Westfield Kirklin Whitestown and nearby lodges. The visitors made a significant showing.
The first Scott family reunion will be held at the mouth of Winkle Creek on Sunday September 15. There is no program yet but exercises suitable for such occasions will occur and a permanent organization is to be effected.
The Anderson papers announce the approaching marriage of Miss Bertha Kennett of this place and Len Coburn of Anderson. Coburn is connected with the Rochester Shoe Company and is a rising young business man. Kennett was raised in Sheridan and is well known here. The wedding will take place in November at the bride’s mother's home in this city.
The order of Eastern Star holds a stated meeting tonight. A full attendance is desired for important business and proceedings.
