Noblesville Indiana September 5 1918 the County Con scription Board announced the selection of forty three registrars for the 18 to 45 age group. Well Known Farmer Injured by Aggressive Bull
David F. Maish a Clinton county farmer was seriously injured when a bull in a stable trampled and gored him. The animal attacked him in the stall tossing him about the enclosure and inflicting an eight to ten inch wound on his left thigh. He escaped and summoned help. Sheridan officer wounded in France Kenneth Elliott injured in action

The Sheridan Gas Company completed its fifth gas well of the year on the J. G. Barker farm southwest of town. Driller Frank Harrison reported pressure high enough to lift rock fragments from near the bottom to the derrick top, with most wells in a three mile south west section. Gas will fuel Sheridan.
