Car wreck near Lebanon injures Mrs. Clark
A car driven by Dr. Clark and occupied by his wife overturned on a gravel road about a mile northeast of Lebanon on Tuesday morning around 9 oclock. Mrs. Clark suffered hip injuries and internal injuries while Dr. Clark had minor injuries. Mrs. Tillie Kincaid and Miss Florence Kincaid helped pull them from beneath the car before an Indianapolis ambulance took Mrs. Clark home.

Wallace remembered as longtime teacher and community trustee

Barn Fire Destroys Charley Noe Barn in Sheridan
Fire destroyed the Charley Noe barn on Sheridan Avenue Friday afternoon. The blaze began around 3 50 and only two shells of the barn were saved. Much hay and feed were lost. Insurance coverage was 100. Authorities suspect boys and matches started the fire.

Fraudulent Check Charge Lands Man in Jail
Lewis A. Shirley, about forty five, was arrested at Elizaville by Marshal Fisher on a charge of issuing a fraudulent check. Six months ago the man spoke of being a burden and wished to die. He disappeared last spring and wrote letters claiming he was in Evansville intending to drown in the Ohio river, then returned home.
