Suit Seeks Void Liquor License Granted by Commissioners
Attorneys filed in Circuit Court a suit against Wilber Fisher to declare the liquor license issued and later revoked by the Commissioners as void. The complaint accuses A C Pearson of misrepresentation to obtain the license and notes six hundred Adams township citizens had no notice. It alleges publication error in Noblesville Democrat with mutilated notice and asks injunction against selling liquor under the license.

Indianapolis party quail hunting at Sheridan
An Indianapolis group led by Gren Harrison and including Miles Burford Captain Braden and Jno Bradshaw visited Sheridan for a quail hunt. They stayed with Jno Kercheval Sam Wallingford and W S Coyner, hunted Friday and Saturday, each bagging about a dozen birds. Captain Braden mistakenly wore Kerchevals hat home, was court martialed by Gen Harrison, convicted, and shipped home as baggage with a red bandana. the group warned they would send him to the workhouse for thirty days if Kercheval was not satisfied.
