Postmaster Newby Injured In Runaway Crash
Postmaster Newby suffered a broken jaw in two places and facial injuries when a frightened horse threw him from a spring wagon on the Boxley road near Dora Cutts' home. He was taken to St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis for setting of the fractures and remains on liquid diet with likely six weeks of treatment. W. B. Sample escaped with minor bruises after the chase.
