John C. Miller Dies in Sheridan at 92
John C. Miller died after a prolonged illness at his home in north Sheridan on Friday morning aged 92 years, 6 months, and 13 days. He moved to Sheridan in 1888 from Elkhart, leaving a widow and two daughters. He was a longtime Mason and was buried Sunday in Spencer Cemetery after a brief service led by Rev. Shields.

Tragic Childhood Burn Fatality at Wercheval Home
A five year old girl, Ethel Wercheval, died Wednesday from severe burns suffered when a leaf burning accident at her home in the Wercheval residence left her mother, Mrs. R. G. Wercheval, badly burned. The mother’s hand may be saved but crippled for life. funeral held yesterday at the family home.

Margaret L. Cook wife of County Commissioner Levi Cook died at her home near Noblesville Sunday evening from nervous prostration. In her 70s and lifelong resident, she and Levi recently marked their golden anniversary.
