Sheridan plans a twelve piece combination orchestra led by Fred McDonald with Edwin Beauchamp as director featuring saxophones cornets trombone bari tone tuba banjo drums clarinet marimba and piano. Colored men detained in town on suspicions
Marshal A A Henderson locked up three colored men Saturday night for not being identified and appearing suspicious. He released them early Sunday morning with orders to leave town. The spokesman said, As soon as you say the word, suh, we’re ready to go.

Martin Small Dies After Illness at Home
Martin M. Small, a farmer living south of East Union church on Range Line road, died Monday afternoon about five o'clock from acute indigestion. He was about sixty, sick two hours. Survived by wife and six children, services held Wednesday at East Union church with East Union cemetery burial. A former Kempton resident and Tipton mover, he belonged to Sheridan Masonic lodge.

Young Boy Hurt When Colt Runs Away Near Sheridan

Death claims Mrs. E. J. Walker near Sheridan
Mrs. E J Walker died at her home four miles southwest of Sheridan on May 17 at age sixty two. She left a husband and two children Winifred and Ernest. Long illness with heart disease led to paralysis and death. The funeral was postponed while her son in Alaska hurried home via Seattle and Winnipeg. Burial will be at Little Eagle cemetery.
