Decoration urged for Memorial services in Sheridan
Sheridan residents are urged to decorate homes and businesses for Memorial and Decoration services. Memorial services will be held Sunday at 2 o'clock in the Christian church. Decoration day is the following Thursday with a rain plan to move to the M. E. church if May 30 is rainy.

Almon Gardner sold the north room of the old Union block building to L. E. Heaps for 1600 dollars. The space is currently occupied by a defunct moving picture company and will be remodeled to suit the tenant.

Burial of Lebanon Child Dies of Pneumonia
The six year old daughter of Frank Hoffman of Lebanon was buried here on Saturday. She died after a two week illness from pneumonia.

Man Recovers From Hay Load Fall Near Sheridan
Sherman McKenzie aged about 40, unmarried, broke his right leg after falling from a hay load while attempting to climb down at the Eddie Spencer farm northwest of Sheridan. He suffered a painful injury but is reported as a patient of the local farm accident record.

John Briles of near Westfield was thrown from his buggy after it hit a deep rut, injuring ribs and badly bruising his side. He lay unconscious until Mrs. Charles McGuire found him. a possible operation was considered. Briles, about 40, has two sons and is son of Ross Briles of Horton.
