County Loses 356 School Children in 1911 Enumeration
Noblesville Indiana May 18 1911 County Superintendent J F Haines finished tallying 1911 school age numbers showing a net county loss of 413 children from 1910 with Washington township dropping 123 and Jackson 74. Noblesville city and nearby towns also declined while Clay and White River townships gained. A separate raid by Sheriff York and deputies seized 92 bottles resembling beer from Marshall Wiseman’s home as part of a liquor investigation and the divorce case Cobler versus Cobler continued in Vestal court with testimony detailing alleged liquor influence and marital strife.

Auto Crash Kills Tipton Woman At Church Curb
Mrs. R. B. Deakyne of Tipton died after an automobile struck a buggy at the curb in front of the Christian church Saturday evening. The impact crushed her skull as she waited for Mrs. Lee Moore to return from the church supper. Doctors could not revive her. The accident blamed on high speeds rounding town corners.

Physician Killed in Indianapolis Collision Burial Held
Dr. Andrew G. Cooper a 28 year old hospital physician died in a Sunday accident when an ambulance collided with a street car in Indianapolis. He was buried Tuesday at Schceville with plans to join his father in a large practice. He was a cousin of Dr. W. E. Cooper of this place.

Mothers Day Observed At First Christian Church
Mother's Day was observed at the First Christian church last Sunday with a 9 30 program featuring many participants. Music came from the Sunday School orchestra and a solo by Frances Endaly. Rev Payne delivered the sermon on Mother Home and Heaven, honoring the day with a suitable tribute. The church was well filled and the program praised for its harmony with the occasion.
