Commissioners Out Inspecting Roads In Noblesville Indiana
Noblesville Indiana May 2 1912 the commissioners spent days driving the county to inspect roads bridges and culverts. They warn that much money will be needed for repairs this summer noting vitrified brick culverts deteriorating from a severe winter. Washouts reported in Fall Creek and Adams townships. The Covode hill on the Lafayette pike is in poor condition prompting tile drains on both sides. Tower braces at the court house clock are damaged and temporary repairs are planned while seeking permanent improvements.

Little Girl May Have Hydrophobia
Ruth Kelly seven year old daughter of John Kelly of the northern township was taken to an Indiana polis hospital for Pasteur treatment after a family dog bite. The dog grew ill and was killed. its head was sent to a hydrophobia specialist for diagnosis rabies. The child faces a twenty one day hospital stay but is reported to be progressing toward safety as medical science advances in hydrophobia care.

Wesleyan Connection members and local business leaders met to attract a Sheridan publishing house. A five member committee was appointed to canvass for funds as a bonus, with Dan Hare, George H.
