In Noblesville Indiana on March 16 1922 the circuit court dismissed Parker and James Gunn v Monon railroad after notes show both cases were compromised. Sheridan High School Track Prospects Bright
Sheridan high school looks to field a strong track team this year with active spring training. The inter class meet is March 31 followed by the Big Three on April 7 and the County meet in Noblesville on April 14. Northam set a new shot put record at 48 feet, Smith excels in the broad jump, Parr leads in low hurdles, Young shines in dashes, Weaver competes in vaulting, and several freshmen show first class potential after last year’s injuries and hard luck.

William R Moreland a respected Boone county farmer died suddenly Sunday night at his Strawtown road home near Sheridan aged just under sixty two He had two prior heart incidents and died before his wife could reach him He is survived by his widow and two sons Jesse W Sheridan and Julius A who lived nearby The funeral was held at Bethel cemetery west of Sheridan Wednesday at 11 A M led by Rev J A Rhodes northern Indiana pastor who once lived with the Morelands

Boxleytown Loss Draft Filed After Fire at Stumbaugh Place
A $1280.30 draft was received by W S Mc Murtry, local agent for Aetna, to cover losses of Dick Stumbaugh of Boxley. Stumbaugh carried $1000 on the house, $200 on contents, and $300 on barn and outbuildings. The barn survived. a gate post was burned. The fire occurred March 4 at high noon.

Sheridan Poultry Replaces Henry Entin Firm in Sheridan
The Sheridan Poultry Company succeeds the Henry Entin Poultry Company retaining north Main street offices with Henry Entin as manager. The old nine shareholder corporation, formed for 10 000, dissolved and sold assets to C R Kerchval, who sold to New York capitalists. A Kirklin branch will be discontinued and trucks planned to serve Kirklin Seirclesville and Sheridan. Henry Entin has a five year history in the business and is popular with local farmers.

Two New Homes Planned on Georgia Street
Ceph Stout sold his Third street residence to Fred O Burton paving the way for two new modern houses on Georgia Street facing west. The deal includes the corner lot at Third and Georgia and followed the purchase of the William Bennett property last week. Cox and Cooper handled the negotiations. The Ludovic Hill farm in Hamilton county was traded to Miss Carry D Merrill for twenty acres near Sheridan in Boone county. The consideration for the twenty-seven acres was 5000 dollars and 3300 dollars for the twenty acres.

Basements Flooded by Heavy Rains in Sheridan Town
Sheridan residents on East and West Second streets and other areas report flood levels similar to 1913. Two foot water depths appeared in basements Tuesday morning after all night rain, with East Second Street most affected due to the Symons drain expansion feeding the town’s low-lying areas.
Indiana farmers hold less cereal grain than last year
A March 1 report from the cooperative crop reporting service shows Indiana farmers hold 76,432,000 bushels of corn reserves, 4,113,000 bushels of wheat, 17,578,000 bushels of oats and 284,000 bushels of barley. Values for improved and unimproved farm land decline by about 22 and 20 dollars per acre respectively, with plow lands down about 24 dollars.
