Former Resident Lewis Underwood Dies in Florida
Word reached Pendleton of the death of Lewis Underwood last week in Florida. He was the only son of Mr and Mrs W E Underwood, former residents of this community. The remains were brought to Pendleton for burial. He was about thirty five and had resided in Florida for several years. He was a Sheridan school graduate and later spent several years in Washington.

Remains of Mrs Christina Summers Buried in Spencer Cemetery
The 87 year old Mrs Christina Summers died of senility at her daughter’s Avoca Nebraska home. Her body was brought in Saturday to be buried beside relatives at Spencer cemetery after funeral services held at the daughter’s home. She leaves daughters Mrs Cottingham and Mrs Osborn plus Mrs Morgan of Indianapolis and son Alex Summers.

Farm deal unites Antrim lands with Merrill near Mechanicsburg
J. G. and Noel Antrim transferred 160 acres south of Sheridan to A. J. Merrill in exchange for a 90 acre farm near Mechanicsburg Boone county. The 160 acre tract sold for 32000 dollars and the 90 acre farm for 19000 dollars.
