Gas Well Shot Ends Effort near Trenton Rock
After a late Saturday night blast using nitrogly cerine 100 quarts, the Trenton rock well failed to raise gas flow. By Monday the pipe was pulled and the hole abandoned as a gas well, though it may serve as a deep water well due to abundant limestone water. Experts think local gas has been exhausted. Contractor Mr. Williams moves his rig to Cicero for five new wells.
