April Term Court Adjourned in Noblesville
Noblesville Indiana July 24 1913 Judge Vestal adjourned the April term of court. The new term starts the first Monday in October. Much of the last day was spent reviewing the docket with many cases dismissed or stricken. Remaining cases were carried over for trial with docket openings planned to minimize delays.

Three Bids Awarded for Street Sprinkling Contract
The town board awarded sprinkling of brick streets to A J Erp at 4.8s per month with a $500 bond for proper performance. Inger and a lower bidder were the others. Bonds were ordered printed for the Sherman street sidewalk improvements. An eight inch whistle device was ordered for the electric light plant. The old bell will be torn down and sold. Eight Year Old Kicked by Horse Near Sheridan
Geo. Teter, eight year old son of John W. Teter, was kicked by a horse one mile south of Sheridan Saturday evening. He lost three teeth and sustained facial gashes requiring six stitches. He remains in a growing condition and is expected to recover.

Man Hurt as Hay Carrier Falls on Head Near Sheridan
Silas M. Ridgeway of Boone county was seriously injured when a fifty pound hay carrier fell twenty five feet onto his head while he was on a load of hay. The bolt loosened dropping the carrier as he pushed the fork down. He remained unconscious for hours with a head wound brain concussion eye hemorrhage and persistent vomiting. His condition remained critical.
