After a lengthy hearing before Judge Hines in Noblesville the court found James R. Cox owned the land and divided the tract by agreement. Onie Cox received twenty acres including the buildings while Mrs. Emme Rhodes and Mrs. Sylvia Jackson Chance and Mrs. Grace Davy received about fourteen acres each. Auto Collision on Main Street in Head-On Crash
A Ford driven by Clarence Walker collided head on with a Buick driven by an unidentified man on Main Street around ten in the morning. Spectators blamed both drivers for the wreck in the middle of the street. The Ford had a twisted axle and bent radius rods. The Buick suffered a damaged fender and lamp.
