Noblesville Indiana July 3 1919 The County Board of Commissioners met to discuss road matters and a proposal to buy twenty seven voting machines for 22720. The plan would reduce precincts from 43 to 27 and cut election costs significantly. Federal liquor enforcement will take all cases to Indianapolis federal court ending bootlegging in the county. Recorder Ferry Carroll processed 349 gas leases filed by Indiana Gas Light Company covering 25000 to 30000 acres with landowners receiving 100 per gas well and one eighth if oil is found. Loren Eller 40 is jailed for safety while mentally unbalanced.

16 Year Old Girl Dead In Tipton County
Miss Louise Kelley sixteen year old daughter of John Kelley who resides north of Sheridan in Tipton county died Monday afternoon following a breakdown of nervous trouble. She is survived by her parents six sisters and one brother. Funeral was held at East Union Wednesday with Rev. Foster in charge.
